Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your FixRoast subscription at any time using one of these methods:

Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your FixRoast account
  2. Go to SettingsBilling
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation

Option 2: Contact Support

Email us at hello@fixroast.com with your registered email address and request cancellation. We will process your request within 24 hours.

2. What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Immediate Effect: Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period
  • Continued Access: You retain full access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • After Expiration: Your account will be downgraded to the Free tier with 2 roasts/month
  • Data Retention: Your existing roast reports and account data will be retained for 90 days

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. When you cancel:

  • No refund is provided for the current month
  • You can continue using the service until your billing period ends
  • No prorated refunds for partial month usage

3.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable:

  • No prorated refunds for early cancellation
  • You retain access for the full year even after cancellation
  • The subscription will not auto-renew

3.3 Exceptions

We may consider refunds in the following cases:

  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
  • Service Outage: Extended service unavailability (more than 72 hours)
  • Technical Issues: If we cannot resolve issues preventing you from using the service

To request an exception, contact us within 7 days of the charge with details of your issue.

4. Free Trial Policy

FixRoast offers a generous free tier (2 roasts/month) instead of a time-limited free trial.

  • No credit card required to sign up
  • Free tier has no expiration date
  • Upgrade to paid plans only when you need more roasts

5. Downgrade Policy

You can downgrade your subscription at any time:

  • Pro to Starter: Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. No refund for the difference.
  • Paid to Free: Same as cancellation - you keep access until the billing period ends.

6. Account Deletion

If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data:

  1. First, cancel your subscription (if active)
  2. Email us at hello@fixroast.com requesting account deletion
  3. We will process your request within 30 days
  4. All your data, including roast reports, will be permanently deleted

Note: Account deletion is irreversible. Export any data you want to keep before requesting deletion.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through DodoPayments, our payment provider.

  • Refunds, when approved, are processed back to the original payment method
  • Refund processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • For payment disputes, contact DodoPayments or your bank directly

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
